The Fountain of Youth - Let's talk about it.
NAD Injections at Anew You!
Maybe you've heard the recent buzz about NAD and how it is "the new fountain of youth" or "anti-aging miracle.” Unfortunately, doctors haven't yet discovered how to turn back the clock on aging. But we are getting closer all the time.
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD for short) is generally found in our bodies and is required for all body functions. It's technically referred to as a co-enzyme, but it assists every cell in the body in doing its job. Most importantly, it helps repair DNA, the genetic instructions found in every cell of our body that is usually damaged as we age due to exposure to sunlight, free radicals, and other toxins in our environment. NAD helps to heal the brain and body at the cellular level and aids in tissue remodeling and cellular repair.

There are different methods of receiving NAD+. IV (intravenous) infusions and subcutaneous injections are the most effective. Oral supplementation, patches, and sublingual tablets are also available but are much less effective.
At Anew You, Dr. Sherry Wehner offers NAD+ injections. Although we do have a full complement of IV nutritional injections in our IV Lounge, IV infusions of NAD+ are more expensive, take several hours for each treatment session (if the proper dosage is given), and cause mild to significant side effects while receiving treatment in many patients (such as nausea, rapid heartbeat, anxiety, etc.), such that the treatments have to be stopped and repeatedly restarted depending on patient tolerance. Subcutaneous injections are a newer method of NAD+ therapy, and the results have been incredible, with very few side effects.
